Krampus Earrings

From sawing out the shape, filing and sanding, stamping the designs and soldering on the chains these are some of the most unique earrings you’ll own! Inspired by the ancient Central and Eastern Alpine folkloric tradition on December 5th. Krampus is said to accompany Saint Nicholas on his visits. While Saint Nicholas rewards well-behaved children with small gifts, Krampus punishes badly behaved children with spankings using Birch switches! The origin of the figure is unclear; some historians and anthropologists have postulated that it may have pre-Christian origins. In contemporary times, “Krampusnacht” has become a night of fun loving mischief and merriment!
