Copper Bird Earrings

Copper earrings are printed with a pattern inspired by William Morris “Strawberry Thief” wallpaper. William Morris was a social activist deeply involved in the British Arts and Crafts Movement of the 1880’s. The movement was a backlash to the industrial revolution, and the mass production of objects. Morris was a major contributor to the revival of traditional handcrafts. 
As someone who participates in the cult of hand making I’ve always loved Morris’ designs.

These copper earrings are reminiscent of the aesthetic of that time in our created, using the exact techniques and metalsmith of that era would have used.
